Our agency director just minutes ago sent us an email that we have been assigned a court date! It will be January 30, 2009. Please start praying that we pass court the first time. If we pass, Mark will travel to pick up our son 4 weeks after. We are so excited!
Well, we originally thought we’d be bringing our son home in late December. Then, after the change in paperwork requirements, we thought we’d get a court date in late December. Now, we just hope we hear what our court date is in December. It will definitely be after Jan. 9…the date some other’s who were rescheduled got today. So, the earliest our son will come home is mid February…he will be 6 months old by then…and it could be several weeks later than that - but I pray not. I am still pumping twice a day to try to be ready to breastfeed him when he comes home…I will keep it up. Please pray that Ethiopia will grant us a court date VERY soon.
